What made the Blue Machine Marching Band special was that it was a collection of great musicians from all backgrounds, with many different skillsets. The Sound and The Fury Alumni Band is looking to continue to cultivate the relationships between those different collections.

 

Yearly Membership into The Sound And The Fury Alumni Band is $75. Your membership covers:

• Operating expenses for the Association

• Book Vouchers and scholarships for present band members

• Financial assistance for the multiple FVSU Band ensembles

• Access to TSATF Updates, Minutes and Reports

• Ability to march with Alumni Band during designated performances

First year graduates from the program membership cost is FREE for the first year.

TSATF Alumni Band will meet once every quarter in person, unless otherwise noted . All other correspondence will be done via email.

Membership FAQ

Q: I'm a former member of the BMMB, but did not graduate from FVSU. Am I eligible for membership into The Sound and The Fury Alumni Band Association?
A: Yes. If you are a former member of the BMMB or any of the FVSU Bands (symphonic, jazz band, etc.), then you are eligible for regular membership. 

Q: I used to march in the BMMB, but I don't know if I am ready/able to be financial. What can I do?
A: Fill out the Online Registration Form, and we'll make sure we keep you in the loop about our activities.

Q: What do I need to do to become a financial member?
A: Simply fill out the registration form, and we will then follow up with you with a PayPal request for membership. You will receive a 'Thank You' letter from the Association, as well as your membership credentials.

Q: When is the beginning and end of the Association's fiscal year?
A: Our fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30th
